Man not allowed to buy eight pasties
A SUPERMARKET trip turned into a comical farce for one shopper who was threatened with police action after he tried to buy eight cornish pasties.
Andrew Williamson expected TV prankster Jeremy Beadle to jump out from the aisles in Tesco when he was banned from buying his family’s tea.
Mr Williamson, who owns A2B Taxis in Ossett, was told there was a six pasty rule when he got to the till at the store in Batley on Sunday.
